Stuart Burdge our senior partner is a lifelong resident of North Somerset who has well over thirty years’ experience in the profession locally. Having trained with what was then King Miles & Co, he became qualified and went on to run the Wells, Chew Magna and opened the Nailsea branch of that large multi disciplined West Country firm until its acquisition by Lloyds Bank in 1986. Soon after throughout several mergers and acquisitions, Stuart became Managing Director of Henson, Burdge & Evans who acquired Evans Estate Agents and Hensons along the way and now have a network of over 80 associated offices across the region and in London whilst, still based and living in Backwell having previously lived in Nailsea and before that Congresbury which was where his family farmed for many generations.
Not wishing to ‘niche’ in any particular market segment, Hensons market properties right across the price spectrum and operate both Residential Sales and Lettings businesses. In addition, Stuart advises landowners on development potential, often securing options to purchase produces Gross Development Valuations, appraisals and feasibility studies for developers large and small.
